Daniel O’s Post Day 10 - July 29th

For day 10 we all met up early in the morning at 7am for breakfast. Breakfast today consisted of eggs, slices of bread and yucca chips with a side of grapes and of course you can’t forget your coffee.   After our breakfast we headed to La BioFabrica for another day at work. 

We started the day by taking some cement bags to the other side of La BioFabrica to the terraces in the wheel barrels. In the first two hours the surveying crew and I were able to complete the surveying on the north and south side terraces. After we were finished, we went to help mix concrete to make the base of the worm bins. We did 7 batches of cement today. Yes it was very tiring, but we made a lot of progress. We are hoping to finish on Sunday before we leave.

After working all day in the bright hot sun, we head for lunch. Doña Flora prepared an amazing lunch. 

Later on in the day, Yonatan and Leticia set up a stand with different home made souvenirs that we could buy to take back home. Then we had coffee time with some really good empanadas that Juan prepared for us. After coffee time, we had some down time so we played some card games that keep getting intense but very good to pass time. 

To finish off the day Juan made an amazing chicken soup for dinner. After we did a reflection before going to bed.
